During World War II, with Portugal's neutrality, Estoril was a haven for European Royalty, and became known as the "Coast of Kings". But the region was also frequented by both British and German Spies. Estoril was the scene for real stories of intrigue and espionage, which inspired various famous books and films. Some scenes of the James Bond movie "On Her Majesty's Secret Service" were filmed on the region. "Cassino Royale" - the first Fleming's book with James Bond as personage - was inspired on Casino Estoril. Not only the title of the book but also gambling scenes were inspired by this famous casino.

By Car
From the airport, follow the directions to highway A5 (Estoril/Cascais). One in this highway, leave on exit 9 (km 19.8) and follow the directions to Estoril. SANA Hotel is located in Avenida Marginal 7034.
By public transportation
There are two possibilities:
1. Take the Aerobus, which is a bus service connecting the airport and the Cais-do-Sodré train station (the Estoril/Cascais Railway).

Once
in Cais-do-Sodré, take the train to Estoril (note that not all the trains stop
in Estoril). There are many trains every hour. The fare is 3.60 euros. For more
