Recently, many researchers working mainly in logistics have addressed location problems as part of strategic/tactical logistics decisions. From the point of view of the researchers coming from the location community, the last years have shown that many successful approaches of location theory have been mainly achieved in logistics (and here especially in Supply Chain Management and optimization modules for GIS).
